This past weekend I had the opportunity to take photos for my friends at A Dog’s Life Rescue.  They hold adoption fairs at Tailwaggers in West Hollywood on the first three Saturdays of each month — and this week was PACKED with people interested in adopting and fostering.

A Dog’s Life Rescue is a not for profit, all volunteer, no-kill organization dedicated to saving the lives of abandoned, abused or neglected dogs and other animals by providing them with shelter, care, and rehabilitation both medically and emotionally.

Here at CLB photography, you are rewarded for being a fellow pet lover. All new clients get 20% off the regular price for a 2 hour pet photo session with me.

As an added bonus, an additional 10% of the proceeds from each pet photo session are always donated to A Dog’s Life Rescue.

It’s fun for everyone, treats are involved, and you’ll have beautiful portraits of your BFF to cherish forever!  PLUS you’ll be helping a pet in need find a safe and loving forever home.  It’s a win-win!

If you have any questions or would like to book your session, contact me at casey.brodley@gmail.com.

****This promotion is available for a session anytime during 2013 for new clients only.****

Gone Discin’

I got a new lens on Saturday which means I have a new toy.  It also means that while I was waiting in line at Calumet to purchase this long coveted lens, I added about 15 more items to my camera accessory wish list.  Pretty much everything I touched in the store I wanted because I am a human with no self control.

By some sort of miracle, I didn’t spend my credit card limit that day (hurrah!) and I only got the 16-35mm lens that I have patiently been saving up for.

I tagged along yesterday with my boy to a disc golf course in Pasadena.  It was a bit overcast, which made it a perfect day for taking photos.  I made friends with a goat, who followed us around until Hefe the Pitbull chased him off.
